UAV-ready cloud particle imaging for harsh atmospheric environments

HoloCloud is a compact holographic imaging system designed for direct observation of cloud particles and microphysical processes in demanding atmospheric environments. Built for operation in cold, wet, and highly dynamic conditions, it incorporates condensation protection and environmental hardening for reliable performance in cloud measurements. Its lightweight, compact architecture enables easy integration with UAV platforms for in situ atmospheric deployment. HoloCloud supports phase discrimination of cloud hydrometeors, including differentiation between liquid droplets and ice particles, enabling direct observation of processes such as droplet growth, ice formation, and cloud phase evolution.
